Responsible for $1.1 billion of corporate services and employee-related spend in a diverse portfolio of 300+ suppliers for the world’s most admired airline. Managed team of passionate sourcing professionals and $2 million P&L.
Major contributions:
\ Architect of $70 million logistics sourcing strategy that maintained pre-merger partnerships with two of the world’s largest logistics providers, while gaining financial efficiencies
\ Negotiated unprecedented Designer Services Agreement with leading American fashion designer for redesign of new uniforms for nearly 60,000 Above Wing and Below Wing employees; launched comprehensive four-phased Request for Proposal in solicitation of manufacturing and distribution partners for new uniform program
\ Partnered with human resources and executive leadership to establish corporate benefits strategy that contributed to savings of $30M+
\ Spearheaded contingent workforce managed-services solution which resulted in $4M+ in total labor rate savings
\ Built credibility with internal and external business partners through value creation and best practices to move from tactical support to strategic partnership of core corporate services

Partnered with CIO and VP-level executives to establish sourcing strategies that successfully maintained business continuity during extensive industry and organizational change. Responsible for $220 million in Operating and Capital spend. Managed a team of ten and $1.1 million P&L.
Major contributions:
\ Successfully maintained critical IT relationships through Delta’s bankruptcy reorganization and pre-merger phase with Northwest Airlines
\ Led complex negotiations for contract terminations and settlements while maintaining Delta’s reputation in the industry
\ Implemented supplier performance management scorecards to monitor and maintain ‘superior’ levels of satisfaction among key IT partners, including: hardware, software, telecommunications and technical professional services
| Manager, Alliance Sourcing – Supply Chain Management
Established as lead for collaborative joint-sourcing initiatives between Delta and its global SkyTeam partners to negotiate fuel, airport customer service and corporate travel commodities. Managed implementation of this innovative approach across the organization.

\ Established a complex network of alliances and affiliations between 13 airline partners, including: Air France, Korean Air and Alitalia
\ Developed a cross-organizational Code of Conduct, standardized contractual terms and led implementation training to ensure partnership alignment

iMomentum, Inc. | September, 2001 – October, 2004

Orchestrated the start-up, development and growth of operations consultant firm that implemented customized eMarketplace, eSourcing and other online supply chain solutions for large-scale supply chain organizations. Primary clients - Delta Air Lines and other small businesses.

Fueled the onset of several eCommerce solutions into the online marketplace. Quickly elevated in organization to manage and develop over 23 of the company’s brightest consultants and administrators.

Captured superior levels of client expectations by guiding them through the realignment of their purchasing and supplier strategies using emerging technology. Lead supplier adoption and activation for one of the largest Oil/Petrochemical Energy Exchanges in B2B history for Shell’s European operations.
